Job summary

Hunt Middle School in Burlington, Vermont seeks a dedicated Student Success Coordinator (LTS) to support students who have experienced trauma and ongoing behavioral challenges. The role focuses on implementing ABA-based interventions and coordinating crisis response within the school day.

Starting around December 1, 2026, the coordinator will work with support staff to deliver instructional activities, promote self-regulation, and foster positive student connections in a supportive learning

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus at least 2 years of additional education.
• Experience with students experiencing challenging behaviors and crisis response.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA-based behavioral intervention plan.
• Assess progress and adjust lessons to meet needs.
• Provide a safe school environment and coping strategies for student success.
• Coordinate and prioritize building response to student behavior.
• Deliver instructional materials with support staff.
• Apply self-regulation and skill-building techniques.
• Manage student aggression with intervention plans and de-escalation techniques.
• Provide leadership and guidance.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Fulfill BSD designated employee responsibilities regarding compliance.
• Other duties may be assigned.
