Job summary

Burlington Township School District is seeking a dedicated Long-Term Student Assistant Coordinator (SAC) for an anticipated opening at Burlington Township Middle School. You will promote the social, emotional, and personal development of all students in a temporary capacity from January 4, 2027 to May 14, 2027.

The role requires a NJDOE Student Personnel Services Certificate or equivalent license, a master's degree in Counseling/Social Work/Psychology, and strong communication skills to work

Qualifications

Must have NJDOE Student Personnel Services Certificate or equivalent licenses.
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
Experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
Understanding of mental health issues affecting middle/high school students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, parents, and community.
Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
Commitment to an inclusive and supportive school environment.
