Job summary

City Year AmeriCorps members in New Hampshire support elementary to high school students through coaching and mentoring, helping them improve academics, attendance, and positive behaviors. You will plan and monitor student progress and work with teachers on in-class support.

We provide 2–4 weeks of initial training at the start of the year, with ongoing collaboration and a full-time commitment accompanied by a living stipend and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Coaching 1:1 and small groups of students to boost academic progress and attendance
• Plan and monitor individual student progress and share data with teachers
• Create engaging, safe classroom spaces and support whole‑school initiatives
• Collaborate with teachers and team members to implement behavior and learning strategies
