Job summary

The Aviation Institute of Maintenance is seeking a Student Success Coordinator at our Manassas, VA campus. You will drive retention, certification completion, and academic persistence by walking alongside students, removing barriers, and providing proactive support across admissions, academics, and student services.

You will manage a caseload, engage students consistently, and help them stay on track to graduate, while partnering with instructors and staff to ensure outcomes align with program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1–2+ years of experience in student services, advising, admissions, recruiting, workforce development, or related role.
• Strong ability to motivate, influence, and hold students accountable; excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a student caseload and meet defined performance metrics, including retention, certification readiness, and graduation progression.
• Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for assigned students; build relationships and remove barriers to persistence.
• Collaborate with academic leadership and instructors to monitor student progress and coordinate support services.
