Job summary

Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) in Philadelphia is seeking a Career Success Coordinator to guide students from enrollment through graduation and into employment. You will drive certification completion, career readiness, and placement preparation across the student lifecycle.

Responsibilities include engaging students early, building relationships, facilitating resume development, interview prep, and coordinating with employers to ensure successful placement windows.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in student services, career services, advising, workforce development, recruiting, or related support role
• 1 year of related experience in a proprietary (for profit), post-secondary educational setting preferred
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with a student-centered approach
• Willing to travel locally or overnight as needed

Responsibilities

• Actively manage a student caseload and meet defined performance metrics (retention, certification readiness, graduation, placement indicators)
• Serve as a consistent point of contact and advocate for assigned students
• Partner with education team to monitor certification readiness and outcomes
• Introduce career readiness concepts (resume development, professional behavior, labor market awareness) and support job search strategies
• Coordinate with employer engagement and career services partners for placement readiness
• Document all student interactions and participate in audits and reporting
• Assist with workshops, events, and career fairs as assigned
