Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking a qualified Student Success Coach to be located on the Floyd County Campus and will travel to other campuses as needed. The role coordinates focused academic advising and student support to help students persist in their program of study, including advisement, progress reviews (traditional, online, and hybrid), and retention strategies.

This grant-funded position is full-time (40 hours/week), on-campus, reporting to the Director of Advisement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, organizational and technology skills, and decision-making.
• Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct focused academic advising and student support services.
• Support students to persist in their program, including progress reviews for traditional, online, and hybrid formats.
• Develop and coordinate retention strategies; travel to multiple campuses as required.
