Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking a qualified Career Services Coordinator to manage career counseling and services across multiple campuses. The role will guide students in career exploration, assist with resume and interview preparation, and coordinate with employers through Handshake and other platforms.

Travel to other campuses is required, with on-site work and no telework option. The position reports to the Director of Enrollment Services and requires strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university; two years related employment/career services experience.
• Master’s degree from an accredited university and/or 3+ years of career services experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all career counseling and career services activities.
• Guide students in identifying potential career options and programs of study.
• Maintain Handshake and career services information for students and employers; provide job leads and follow up on searches.
• Provide resume/cover letter, interview, and job-search coaching.
• Conduct on-campus career events such as career fairs and workshops.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to track student employment data.
• Travel to other campuses as required; on-campus work environment is required.
