Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking a part-time Student Success Assistant to be located on the Polk County Campus. The role may travel to other campuses to meet operational needs and reports to the Director of Student Success.

The position staffs the Help Center, answers calls, guides prospective and current students, and assists with orientation and events. Data entry into Banner/Target X is required, with back-up for admissions email.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and one year of work-related experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

• Staff the Help Center front desk and answer inquiries from students, faculty, staff, visitors and the general public.
• Assist in coordinating open houses, recruiting activities, and other special events.
• Coordinate campus visits and group tours as needed; assist with admissions/financial aid tasks.
