Job summary

Georgia Northwestern Technical College seeks a Career Services Coordinator on campus with occasional travel to other campuses. The role reports to the Director of Enrollment Services and coordinates career counseling and services.

You will guide students in career choices, create resumes and interview prep, manage Handshake and CRM platforms, and coordinate job fairs and workshops. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college; two years related employment or career services experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills for a diverse student population.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and 3+ years in higher education career services.
• Experience with Handshake and CRM platforms like Salesforce/Target X, Slate or Element 451.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide students in identifying a potential program of study and career choices.
• Process job opportunities, provide job leads, and follow up on student progress.
• Provide resume, cover letter, and interview coaching to students.
• Maintain Career Services Handshake page and related links.
• Conduct job fairs and coordinate workshops and events.
• Stay informed on industry trends and salary data; share with faculty.
• Travel to multiple campuses as needed; on-campus presence required.
