Job summary

Vincennes University is seeking an Educational Coach for a 12-month, full-time position that teaches courses, advises students, and supports the Blazers Achieve Student Support Services program. The role includes working evenings for workshops and events, maintaining records, and collaborating with campus departments.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least one year of educational coaching experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• One year of experience in educational/coaching/mentoring with underrepresented populations.
• Ability to foster a safe, positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors students; records services in the database.
• Recruit intake procedures at Trailblazer Kickoff and PreVUs.
• Maintain records, manage databases, purchasing, and inventory.
• Maintain computer lab and Smart Classroom facilities.
• Support transitions from high school to postsecondary.
• Coordinate services with community agencies and campus departments.
• Assist with career exploration and soft skills development.
• Provide student advising and office hours.
• Participate in committees and program assessment.
