University of Missouri-St. Louis is seeking an Academic Advisor to guide undergraduate students through their academic journeys within the College of Arts and Sciences.

The role focuses on advising, records management, and campus partnerships to promote retention and degree completion. You will support approximately 300 undergraduates, contribute to career ladder growth, and collaborate with faculty and campus partners to remove barriers to success.

Qualifikationen

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Master's degree in Higher Education or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in advising or student success.

Aufgaben

• Provide holistic academic advising and student support services that promote student success, persistence, and timely degree completion.
• Partner with students to develop academic plans and navigate degree requirements, university policies, and academic processes.
• Assist with registration, course scheduling, graduation review processes, and other academic administrative activities that support student success.
• Review and evaluate academic records, degree requirements, transfer coursework, and other student information to support planning and degree progression.
• Connect students with university services, programs, and resources to address individual needs and barriers.
• Monitor student progress and intervene to support retention and degree completion.
