Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a dedicated Student Counselor to support Job Corps participants with personal, educational and career counseling designed to improve employability and program retention.

The role emphasizes individualized development plans, progress documentation, confidentiality, and collaboration with Center staff to ensure safety, respect and successful program completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 15 semester hours in Social Services-related instruction from an accredited school.
• Minimum of one-year experience in counseling or related field.
• Valid in-State Driver’s License and insurability according to company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and career counseling to students to enhance employability and retention in Job Corps.
• Develop individualized Personal Career Development Plans for each student.
• Coordinate services on- and off-Center to ensure student retention and success; transport as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
• Document student progress and outcomes using the case management system.
• Mentor and supervise student population, modeling Career Success Standards.
• Collaborate with Center staff to ensure quality programs and services for students.
