Zusammenfassung

Utica University in Utica, NY seeks a Success Coach to proactively support undergraduate students, manage a caseload, and meet with each student each semester to help plan courses.

The role partners with faculty and student services, conducts ongoing assessments, assists with registration and academic planning, and supports events and programming across the campus. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to attend events outside normal office hours, including evenings and weekends.

Aufgaben

• Completes ongoing assessments of students' academic/transition needs.
• Assists students with course registration and academic planning with faculty.
• Provides academic coaching on time management, organization, and study skills.
• Keeps detailed case notes and updates records after meetings.
• Attends weekly Center for Student Success meetings and department meetings as needed.
• Triages student needs and connects them with appropriate offices and programs.
• Assists with programming, presentations, and events.
• Contributes to development of department's strategic and operational plans.
• Participates in ongoing assessment processes as required.
• May serve as instructor for UCC 101 – First Year Seminar.
