Acceleration Academies is hiring Student Advocates across all academy locations to support and mentor students pursuing their high school diploma. The role focuses on building relationships, removing barriers to attendance, and coordinating enrollment and orientation activities.

The position is onsite, with opportunities to engage in recruitment, individual academic support, and collaboration with the student support team to track learning pathways and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 0–2 years in educational support, case management, or working with at‑risk youth.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency with learning management systems and educational technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with student registration and enrollment.
• Support student orientation to set up success.
• Act as a case manager for a cohort and track attendance.
• Canvass and recruit to attract new students.
• Provide one-on-one academic support and interventions.
• Collaborate with the student support team on learning pathways.
• Participate in professional development activities.
