Acceleration Academies is hiring a Student Advocate to build relationships with students and provide both academic and non-academic support to help graduates complete their high school diplomas. The role emphasizes outreach, case management, and collaboration with center professionals to remove barriers to attendance and progress.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience in education, youth mentorship, or case management.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in educational support or working with at-risk youth.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, adaptability, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with registration and enrollment for new students.
• Provide orientation support to set up student success.
• Act as case manager, monitor attendance, and document progress.
• Lead outreach activities to re-engage students and support retention.
• Collaborate with student support teams to track learning pathways.
• Participate in academy meetings and school/community events.
