Job summary

Connors State College seeks a dedicated Student Success Coach to serve as a primary point of contact and resource for students, providing guidance and support throughout their educational journey.

You will recruit, counsel, motivate, and advise students; support retention initiatives; assist with course selection; and guide students through enrollment and registration processes to help them succeed at Connors State College.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required or conferred by start date.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to serve institutional needs.
• Some irregular work hours required to serve institutional needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in choosing courses and creating schedules.
• Counsel and advise students to align academic plans with career goals.
• Review transcripts and complete degree checks.
• Explain prerequisites and program requirements in advising sessions.
• Guide students through enrollment and registration processes.
• Maintain accurate notes and files.
• Support retention initiatives and connect students with resources.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
