Job summary

South College is seeking a Student Success Advisor to support the student life cycle, outreach, and retention efforts. You will work with the Senior Director of Student Success to help students acclimate, meet quarterly goals, and navigate academic policies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in a post-secondary setting. The position emphasizes timely communication, outreach to at-risk students, and collaboration with campus staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred).
• 1–3 years’ experience working in a post-secondary setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support student success by managing the student life cycle and advising students.
• Coordinate with the Senior Director of Student Success to support team objectives.
• Proactively engage at-risk students with resources and escalation when needed.
• Monitor retention and meet with students each quarter to review plans and progress.
• Communicate clearly in verbal and written form, even under pressure.
