Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking a Student Development Representative to assist prospective and current students in a centralized advising support center. You will use technology to enhance processes, promote outreach and retention, and support enrollment services across campus locations.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing student success platforms, assisting with advising applications, and scheduling appointments with advisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
• Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests and provides assistance; explains rules and procedures to students and prospective/ current students.
• Maintains access to student success platforms and supports data reporting needs.
• Supports the academic advising’s third‑party applications and software.
• Assists students in person, by phone, email, and online chat; responds to voicemails.
• Enters student information into databases and assists with applications and registration portals.
• Reviews documents for completeness and accuracy; makes referrals as needed.
• Logs and updates service requests; escalates inquiries when appropriate.
• Schedules appointments with advisors and attends meetings/trainings.
• Backs up other staff duties as necessary.
