Job summary

Palm Beach State College is seeking a Student Success Specialist to support retention and completion initiatives. You will screen students for academic issues, refer them to campus resources, and track outcomes to improve success rates.

The role leads the student ambassador program and collaborates with multiple departments to develop marketing content, gather data, and report results. A grant-funded position offers growth with ongoing funding dependent on program results.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; related experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required for some roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assist students with academic issues and connect them to campus resources.
• Maintain accurate records of program participation and student interactions.
• Coordinate activities of staff and student workers; assist with scheduling and administration.
• Support student panels, events, and workshops to boost retention and completion.
• Prepare and present retention data for internal and external requests.
