Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with 1 year of related experience in advising, student support, or customer service.
• Ability to communicate enrollment information, program requirements and policies to students, parents, counselors, faculty and staff.
• Experience with transfer credit evaluation, dual enrollment intake, and counseling/advising.
• Familiarity with student records, policies, FERPA regulations, and admissions requirements.
• Ability to train staff and maintain records and reports on advisement goals.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on program selection and educational/career goals.
• Assist with enrollment processes, transfer evaluations, and course registration.
• Provide intake advisement for dual enrollment and adult education.
• Maintain knowledge base on College programs, policies, and state regulations.
• Deliver presentations at events and staff meetings to communicate programs and policies.
• Assist with campus administrative functions and student orientation.
• Support faculty academic advisors with advisement questions.
