Job summary

Metropolitan Community College seeks a Student Services Concierge for the Fort Omaha Campus. You will greet students and visitors, assist with registration and planning, and direct inquiries to various departments while managing cashier duties and campus resources.

The role emphasizes customer service excellence, knowledge of FERPA, and the ability to work with diverse populations in a dynamic college environment. On-site, with standard weekday hours and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two years of direct customer service in a fast-paced public environment.
• Experience in an educational setting preferred; English proficiency essential.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience will be considered; ability to travel between campuses.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist students and visitors at the Student Welcome Center.
• Direct inquiries to appropriate campus departments and schedule appointments.
• Answer phones, transfer calls, and handle cashier duties for payments and deposits.
• Maintain forms and mail for all campus departments; monitor security of the Center.
• Support orientation, registration, and access to college resources like MyWay Portal.
