Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for a Student Associate in the Undergraduate Advising Office. This student-facing role will help maintain a welcoming front desk, answer phones, schedule appointments, perform data entry, and assist with website updates.

Training will be provided, and the position is open to current UT students. The ideal candidate is a UT Austin student with strong customer service experience, integrity, confidentiality, and the ability to take initiative

Qualifications

• Current UT Austin student enrolled for the current regular semester, in good standing.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality; able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize the front office to ensure a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries via email, in person, or online, directing complex questions appropriately.
• Schedule appointments for students and assist with general university processes and campus resources.
• Provide website assistance and perform data entry and other office tasks as needed.
