Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains strategic employer and industry partnerships; negotiates internship, apprenticeship, and work-based learning placement agreements.
  • Designs and coordinates apprenticeship, internship, and stackable-credential pathway options; monitors trends and suggests curriculum updates.
  • Builds and manages the job-placement pipeline with employer partners; coordinates hiring events and job fairs.
  • Tracks program KPIs (enrollment, retention, completion, job placement) and prepares reports for funders and leadership.
  • Cultivates K-12 dual-enrollment partnerships and represents the program at industry events.

Job Summary

This position serves as the program-facing Analyst for Rio Salado College's Advanced Manufacturing and semiconductor manufacturing workforce programs. The position builds and manages relationships with employer and industry partners, designs apprenticeship, internship, and stackable-credential pathways in coordination with the Faculty Chair, tracks and analyzes program data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and leads job-placement strategy for program completers. This position exercises independent judgment and analysis in industry liaison work and data-informed recommendations, and does not perform front-line student advising or enrollment processing.

Essential Functions

25% - Develops and maintains strategic employer and industry partnerships; negotiates internship, apprenticeship, and work-based learning placement agreements; serves as the program's primary liaison to industry and economic-development stakeholders.
20% - Designs and coordinates apprenticeship, internship, and stackable-credential pathway options in coordination with the Faculty Chair; monitors industry and technology trends and makes recommendations for curriculum and pathway enhancements.
15% - Builds and manages the job-placement pipeline with employer partners; plans and coordinates hiring events, job fairs, and apprenticeship-to-employment transitions; tracks placement outcomes.
15% - Tracks program KPIs (enrollment, retention, completion, job placement); analyzes program data to evaluate effectiveness and recommends improvements; prepares reports and dashboards for funders, district, and college leadership.
15% - Cultivates K-12/high school dual-enrollment partnerships; represents the program at industry conferences, sector-partnership meetings, and district-level workforce initiatives related to Advanced Manufacturing.
10% - Supports grant and project management: assists with budget tracking, deliverable reporting, and compliance monitoring for program grants. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of student services or college teaching experience, or experience coordinating, administering, planning, or evaluating programs.

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation.

Desired Qualifications
  • A. Experience building and managing employer/industry partnerships, ideally in manufacturing, technology, or a related sector
  • B. Experience designing or coordinating apprenticeship, internship, or work-based learning pathways
  • C. Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting program data or KPIs
  • D. Experience with grant or project management, including budget tracking and deliverable reporting
  • E. Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRMs) or data-management/reporting tools
  • F. One (1) year of full-time relevant MCCCD experience during the previous two (2) years
Special Working Conditions

Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body.

Working Conditions: Work is primarily performed in an indoor office setting. Requires regular travel to off-site campuses, community events, and employer partner locations. Requires occasional evening or weekend hours to support recruitment events or student engagement activities. May be required to sit for a prolonged period of time; viewing a computer monitor
