Job summary

Edconic is seeking a Student Services Representative in San Jose, CA to support academic, residential, and social aspects of the pre-college program. You will be the point person for student and parent inquiries, ensuring seamless, real-time information flow among families, staff and faculty.

The role requires strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor with high school students, and the ability to work autonomously within a team.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1+ year of work experience (summer camps, boarding schools, college campuses).
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with youth, residential programs, at administrative/support level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and communication platforms like Orah or Pronto.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome students; provide accurate information on classes, locations and campus events.
• Answer phone and email inquiries with professional standards.
• Perform daily attendance checks and communicate any unaccounted students to guardians.
• Locate missing residential students and coordinate with staff as needed.
• Check dorms, classrooms, contact roommates, and reach out to guardians after 30–45 minutes.
