Qualifications

• Attends weekly department meetings and reviews persistence reports.
• Assists in weekly enrollment strategy and assigns students to faculty
• Researches proven retention/enrollment strategies from other institutions.
• Communicates with students to assess needs and provide resources.
• Identifies student needs and refers to appropriate program/services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling appointments and preparing correspondence.
• Maintain student records (paper and/or database) using Banner as needed.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily tasks.
• Respond quickly to supervisor and student information requests.
• Plan and staff campus tabling events to engage students and recruit.
• Work some evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Collaborate as a team member within Campus and Academic units.
• Know FERPA and other federal compliance mandates.
