Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana is seeking an Enrollment Specialist to guide prospective and current students through admissions, registration, orientation, and assessments. You will coach new students and manage caseloads to promote retention. You will use student systems to track progress and escalate complex issues as needed.

The role requires strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with some evening/weekend work. Location: Logansport campus, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Must have in-depth knowledge of Admissions, Registration, Orientation, Assessment, enrollment, first term advising, and resolving escalated issues.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist prospective, applied, and current students by covering a wide range of detailed information.
• Conduct targeted outreach to newly admitted students to coach them through their next steps and help prepare them through the first weeks of classes.
• Manage caseload to promote retention, persistence, and student success.
• Maintain and monitor case notes in electronic student record systems.
• Handle inquiries for the Enrollment Center and ticket escalations.
• Assist students in completing online processes including admissions applications and online orientation.
