Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Ivy Tech Community College/Columbus Service Area and eligible for a federal work-study award.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the admissions office visitor contact, providing information on admissions processes, campus services, and events.
• Respond to general email and phone inquiries, directing questions to appropriate staff.
• Prepare and distribute admissions packets, correspondence, and promotional materials.
• Support planning, coordination, and execution of admissions events (open houses, tours, orientations, information sessions).
• Schedule prospective student appointments and campus visits.
• Maintain inventory of admissions materials and keep offices organized.
• Perform other duties to support the Office of Admissions.
