Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg, Indiana, invites applications for the Assistant Director of Admissions. The role supports developing and executing a recruitment plan to build relationships with prospective students through enrollment and outreach across campuses and communities.

You will travel to events, manage multiple projects, and use a CRM to track inquiries, measure conversion, and adjust strategies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects.
• Excellent people skills with diverse populations.
• Must possess skills and experience in public speaking.
• Previous computer experience is necessary.
• Must be willing to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruiting efforts on- and off-campus including college fairs, high school visits, information events, and community activities.
• Recruit on behalf of Ivy Tech, sharing and selling the benefits of the College to increase inquiries and applicants.
• Manage and track potential student groups using a CRM to assess recruitment effectiveness and adjust strategies.
• Increase penetration and conversion rates for assigned schools, events, territories, and dual credit populations.
• Collaborate with local schools, colleges/universities, community agencies and organizations on recruitment plans.
• Coordinate recruitment opportunities with internal Ivy Tech personnel such as marketing, K-12 coordinators, and campus leadership.
