Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks a Recreation Supervisor to lead our Recreation Department in Crystal Springs, Mississippi.

You will plan and implement recreational, fitness, wellness, and student engagement programs, publish schedules, and supervise staff to promote healthy lifestyles and student development. As Acting Center Shift Manager when required, you will collaborate with Residential Living and Safety staff, support the Extended Training Day Program, and help ensure a safe, engaging

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Association degree preferred.
At least 3 years in recreation management or related field.
Experience working with youth.
Valid in-state driver’s license and insurability.
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily operations of the Recreation Department.
Plan and implement recreational, fitness, wellness, and student engagement programs.
Create and publish weekly and monthly recreation schedules.
Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and positive student development.
Supervise and guide recreation staff.
Address student and staff concerns with professionalism.
Participate as active HEALs Committee member.
Support Extended Training Day Program.
Partner with Residential Living and Safety staff for supervision.
Serve as Acting Center Shift Manager/Manager on Duty as assigned.
