Job summary

ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES INC is seeking a Recreation Supervisor to lead the Center’s recreation program and create a safe, engaging, student-centered environment where youth build confidence and social skills.

The role oversees daily Recreation Department operations,Develops creative programming, promotes health and wellness, and coordinates with Dorm Life, Social Development, Safety/Security and other departments. Acting Center Shift Manager duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate of Arts Degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in recreation management/physical education with youth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Center’s recreation program and ensure a safe, engaging environment.
• Oversee daily Recreation Department operations and develop creative programming.
• Coordinate with Dorm Life/Residential Living, Social Development, Safety/Security and other departments.
• Publish weekly/monthly recreation schedules to promote engagement and wellness.
• May serve as Acting Center Shift Manager/Manager on Duty when needed.
• Maintain equipment inventory, budget, and Center facilities related to recreation.
• Supervise staff, hire/evaluate, and ensure staff adherence to safety and conduct guidelines.
