Job summary

Grand Canyon University is seeking a student employee to assist in the Student Recreation Center. Responsibilities include greeting guests, checking in users, assisting with events, and helping enforce policies while supporting the Campus Recreation staff.

The role requires enrollment as a full-time GCU student and availability for 3–4 shifts per week, including weekends if needed. This position pays minimum wage and ends on June 30, 2027, at the campus recreation facility.

Qualifications

• Background in exercise science or sports management preferred.
• Outgoing, hardworking, courteous demeanor.
• Able to work 3–4 shifts per week, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Open or close the performance center.
• Check in students/faculty for use of the facility.
• Assist with special events such as tournaments and team camps.
• Help enforce all policies and procedures.
• Maintain inventory and keep spaces clean.
• Communicate building updates to student worker staff.
• Assist in marketing and coordinating programs.
