Job summary

Grand Canyon University seeks a student employee to support the Campus Visitation Staffing Specialist by coordinating interview scheduling and candidate communications throughout the hiring process. You will assist with onboarding, tracking candidate progression in Workday, and promoting job opportunities on campus.

The role requires on-campus availability during spring break and summer months, 15–20 hours per week, strong customer service, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled full-time student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
• Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA for Bachelor's level students or 3.0 GPA for Master’s level students.
• Available on-campus during spring break and summer months.
• Seeking 15–20 hours of in-office work per week.
• Demonstrates outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interview scheduling and training sessions using Staffing Specialist’s calendar.
• Send follow-up emails, texts, and calls; handle low-level inquiries during hiring.
• Maintain applicant records and notify Student Employment Team of status changes.
• Prepare training materials for Staffing Specialist’s sessions.
• Promote job opportunities and training sessions via campus advertising and social media.
