Job summary

Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA seeks an Academic Records Specialist to deliver front-line operational support within the Office of the Registrar. You will maintain accurate student records, assist with course planning, scheduling, and processing academic forms in accordance with FERPA.

This role focuses on providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, updating Banner records, and supporting graduation activities while upholding institutional policies and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with Banner or a comparable SIS.
• Understanding FERPA regulations and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accuracy of student records in Banner and assist with data updates.
• Support course planning, scheduling, and instructional details with departments.
• Process various academic forms (add/drop, withdrawals, petitions) promptly.
• Assist with graduation and commencement activities per policy.
