Job summary

Operation Smile seeks a Content Manager, Student Programs to drive a comprehensive communications plan for youth-focused initiatives. You will lead content creation for digital and print collateral and coordinate outreach to students and internal teams.

You will supervise staff and interns, mentor on communications best practices, and coordinate training across programs both virtual and on-site. Global travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Experience in content production and social media.
• Experience working with youth across education levels preferred.
• Experience planning events, conferences, and/or workshops preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of the Student Programs content and communications strategy.
• Supervise Content Coordinator and interns, with mentorship and performance reviews.
• Lead student communication training through programs such as U-Voice, We-Voice, leadership conferences, and placements.
• Direct communications for leadership conferences, events, and mobility programs.
• Oversee creation, editing, and distribution of digital content across channels.
• Manage Student Programs social media strategy, calendars, campaigns, and engagement.
• Collaborate with students, staff, and cross-functional teams to develop content.
• Coordinate with Brand Marketing to align campaigns and brand standards.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on communications metrics and engagement.
• Support planning of student-focused campaigns, events, sponsorships, and fundraising.
• Participate in meetings and professional development; travel as needed.
• Produce the annual Student Programs year-end report.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
