Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a program assistant to support after-school Discovery Link activities in Denver, CO. You will supervise students, help implement engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and coordinate with a Program Leader to ensure a safe, orderly environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Ability to maintain safety and supervision with proper staff-to-child ratios.

• Willingness to comply with district policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain staff-to-child ratios and supervise students with a Program Leader.
• Support the daily program schedule and outdoor activities.
• Monitor student behavior per district guidelines.
• Prepare spaces, review schedules, and complete housekeeping tasks.
• Foster positive relationships with families, staff, and community.
• Provide accurate program information and substitute as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
