Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking candidates to support a safe, positive learning environment for students enrolled in extended learning programs. The role requires adherence to district policies, supervision of youth, and effective communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado.
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to ELCS/Discovery Link policies and district regulations for supervision, safety, and conduct.
  • Follow licensing requirements and maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios.
  • Supervise students independently and provide active supervision for safety.
  • Implement daily programs, schedules, curricula, and engaging activities.
  • Maintain appropriate student behavior per the district Behavior Matrix.
  • Follow accident reporting, incident documentation, and related recordkeeping.
  • Prepare and restore program spaces, review schedules and staffing.
  • Foster positive relationships with families and staff; substitute when needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
