Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2 years related work experience in post-secondary institution required.
• Experience advising both traditional‑aged students and adults in a higher education setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify educational and career options with students and establish goals and an action plan.
• Monitor academic progress toward degree/certification completion and document status updates.
• Teach students to navigate campus systems and resources for degree completion.
• Provide information and referrals to services such as tutoring, financial aid, counseling and disability services.
• Provide transfer planning to universities and articulation agreements.
