Job summary

Texas Southern University is seeking an Educational Planner to lead outreach and recruitment efforts across local high schools and colleges. You will guide prospective students through the application process, generate inquiries, and coordinate campus visits to drive enrollment.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. Evening/weekend flexibility and travel may be required. This is a 1.0 FTE position with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in outreach/recruitment activities is beneficial.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Establish relationships with outreach sites and represent TSU.
• Develop presentations to solicit information cards via CRM.
• Provide university information to prospective students and refer to appropriate programs.
• Conduct follow-ups with prospective students and evaluate transcripts and test scores.
• Lead campus tours and information sessions on and off campus.
