Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington seeks a proactive coordinator to support student organizations across campus. You will serve as a liaison, provide policy guidance, and facilitate events, trainings, and workshops with a focus on student development.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience, strong communication, budgeting, and organizational skills in a university setting. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of relevant experience advising student organizations or supporting student programs; or six (6) years of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable three-year (36-month) Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). The selected candidate must complete Defensive Driving Awareness Training (DDAT).

Responsibilities

• Provides personal customer service and support to office patrons at the front desk, over the phone, via email, or through web media.
• Reviews campus event registrations and other documentation for organization activities.
• Guides students on organizational management and leadership issues, including event planning and budgeting.
• Coordinates event programming, setup, and operations; delivers departmental workshops and presentations.
• Manages the recognition and awards process for student organizations.
