Job summary

The University of Texas at Arlington seeks a coor dinator to support registered student organizations and campus events. You will serve as liaison, educator, and resource for student clubs, helping with policy interpretation, event planning, and leadership development.

Responsibilities include front desk support, form processing, space reservations, and coordinating workshops while ensuring compliance with university policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, plus 2 years advising student organizations or coordinating events.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable three-year (36-month) Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Defensive Driving Awareness Training (DDAT) required for three years.

Responsibilities

• Provides front desk customer service and support to office patrons.
• Processes forms, space reservations, event registrations, sign/posting stamping, and printing requests.
• Meets with student organizations to explain and clarify policies.
• Coordinates event programming, setup, and operations; delivers departmental workshops.
• Supports the Assistant Director and Dean of Students regarding free speech, expression, and assembly policies and related enforcement.
