Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and minimum of one semester of college coursework completed.
• Active enrollment at Purdue University is required.
• Previous work experience in University Residences is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills are required.
• Flexible, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, post, and maintain employee schedules as directed by supervising staff.
• Assist with training of employees.
• Coach, counsel, and discipline employees via one-on-one meetings.
• Maintain safety and risk management standards of the department.
• Ensure proper handling and security of keys and hall property.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to residents.
