Job summary

Purdue University seeks an Assistant Director, Residential Housing Operations to ensure staff readiness and to deliver quality residential academic environments across campus housing services, including summer conferences.

You will supervise a team of 4–5 full-time clerks and student staff, coordinate front desk operations, and guide Move-in/Move-out periods plus on-call coverage throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, education, or related field.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Broad knowledge of front desk operations, housing operations and student affairs theory.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of front desks in the assigned neighborhood/area.
• Supervise 4-5 full-time clerks and student staff.
• Support Move-in/Move-out processes and peak times.
• Train and develop staff and oversee communications.
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation.
