Job summary

Kaweah Health is seeking a Student Nurse Intern (SNI) under the RN to assist in the Intensive Care-ICU-2W unit. The role focuses on collaborating with the care team, performing basic bedside tasks, and gaining experience in patient assessment under supervision.

The SNI must be enrolled in an accredited RN program (ASN or BSN) and have or pursue BLS certification; CNA certification is preferred. Duties require adherence to ANA ethics and clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the RN and health care team to plan patient care.
• Performs basic bedside care under RN supervision, within license restrictions.
• Monitors patients and communicates changes to licensed staff.
