Job summary

Kaweah Health is seeking a Student Nurse Intern (SNI) to work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse on the 12-hour day shift. The role includes bedside care, patient/family communication, and participation in care planning while you complete nursing program requirements.

The position requires enrollment in an accredited RN program (ASN or BSN), with progression to the next semester and BLS certification; CA CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required
• CA Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Collaborates and communicates with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Assists RN in plan of care and daily care activities.
• Performs basic bedside care under RN supervision.
• Documents care provided in EMR promptly and accurately.
• Performs tasks as delegated by the RN and participates in patient safety practices.
