Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one nursing clinical rotation.
• Enrolled in an RN program with progress toward degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one clinical rotation in an acute care setting.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort.
• Perform hourly patient rounding and respond to call lights promptly.
• Transport supplies, equipment, and medications as needed.
• Maintain clean patient rooms and unit areas; follow PPE and infection control policies.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the health care team.
