Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse.
• Performs basic care needs (hygiene, nutrition, comfort) as assigned.
• Protects patient rights, confidentiality, and dignity.
• Maintains safe environment for patient care.
• Participates in hourly patient rounding.
• Answers call lights and notifies appropriate staff.
• Assists with comfort measures for patients and families.
• Demonstrates professional communication with the care team.
• Transports supplies, medications, and equipment as assigned.
