Job summary

Ithaca College is seeking candidates for the performance crew, including stage crew, ushers, and box office staff. Stage crew handles setup of chairs, stands, risers, pianos, and other equipment (not percussion or sound) as needed for events.

Job description

The performance crew facilitates concerts by service as stage crew, ushers, and box office staff. Stage crew includes the setup of chairs, stands, risers, pianos, and other equipment (though not percussion or sound equipment) as needed for the particular event. Ushers welcome the public, hand out programs, coordinate latecomers, and scan tickets. Box office staff help patrons reserve their seats. Some familiarity with concert operations is preferred. Work hours are primarily evenings and weekends. The number of hours per week is flexible due to the nature of the concert schedule, workers may tailor the number of hours they work to their needs and availability. Opportunity for promotion available after at least one semester.

Pay Rate: $ 16.00
