• Set up projector and screens as necessary.

Stage Manager

Job Summary

Performs one of many or all tasks associated with concert halltechnical work, including stage management of backstage, lighting,audio, video, and coordination with front of house. Buildingrepresentative for events.

Responsibilities

1. Set up stage for concerts, events, rehearsals, etc. asrequested.
2. Oversee AV streaming equipment and monitor concert live streamin coordination with Music Technology Supervisor.
3. Ready building for concert, event, rehearsal, etc.
4. Post-concert/event/rehearsal clean up of hall
5. Respond to emergencies as necessary.
6. Runs light board for rehearsal and performance.
7. Prepares sound and runs soundboard for rehearsals andperformance.
8. Climbs ladders, move heavy equipment and instruments, and workswith a wide variety of tools.
9. Coordinate ushers during events.
10. Inspects and maintains stage equipment. Inspects systemsutilized by each tenant and provides information to administrationfor damages and use fees.
11. Set standard for calm behavior backstage.
12. This position has the authority to stop a performance inprogress for issues of safety of the performers or the audience.Directly coordinate emergency and evacuation procedures.
13. Pre-concert announcements.
14. Serve as a building representative for events.
15. Set up projector & screens as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Two years of full time professional experience in one or all of theabove listed skills technical theatrical skills or equivalency (oneyear of education can be substituted for two years of related workexperience) required.
