Job summary

Ithaca College is seeking candidates for the performance crew, including stage crew, ushers, and box office staff. Stage crew handles setup of chairs, stands, risers, pianos, and other equipment (not percussion or sound) as needed for events.

Evenings and weekends are the primary hours, and the number of hours per week is flexible to match the concert schedule. There is an opportunity for promotion after at least one semester.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with concert operations preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Stage crew sets up chairs, stands, risers, pianos and other equipment as needed (not percussion or sound).
• Ushers welcome the public, hand out programs, coordinate latecomers, and scan tickets.
• Box office staff assist patrons with seat reservations.
