Job Description:
Assist maintenance staff with basic repairs, installations, and general upkeep of building maintenance. Help College personnel check HVAC, lighting, doors, and other systems to ensure proper operation. Support simple carpentry, and painting tasks, including minor drywall repair, touch-ups and interior painting. May assist in snow removal, grounds maintenance, and general cleaning duties. Move furniture, equipment, and materials as needed for events and maintenance work. Follow safety procedures and receive necessary training in maintenance-related tasks.
Job Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions; willing to work in all kinds of weather and odd hours as academic schedule permits; good physical condition. Experience with power tools and related equipment helpful, but not necessary.
